Isaac Payne, Strength and Conditioning Coach
I have a few questions I want to ask you, please answer them honestly.
Would you like to increase your strength and put on some muscle without hurting your joints in the process...so you can look and feel better than you did in your 20s?
Would you like to recover faster and have more energy throughout the day...so you can be more productive at work and enjoy more activities with your family?
Would you like to have a leaner and more athletic physique...so you'll have more confidence and look good in any outfit you put on?
Would you like to have a physique that would make most guys half your age jealous?
If you answered "YES" to any of these questions...I've got some important news for you.
In fact, it's something most guys 40 and over don't even realize.
Now, this is going to sound harsh, but it's the God honest truth. I've been helping guys get in shape for over 20 years and if there's one thing I know for sure, it's this.
The fitness industry doesn't care about you.
That's pretty harsh isn't it?
But these are the facts.
The fitness industry only caters to young guys in their 20s that have an abundance of time and energy. The vast majority of fitness programs out there are designed for guys who have no problem spending countless hours in the gym, blowing half their paycheque on useless supplements, and sleeping 12 hours a day.
Unless you're a competitive athlete or a fitness model, these high volume, marathon workouts are just a recipe for disaster for any guy over 40.
Don't feel bad if you've made little to no progress with any of these cookie cutter programs - they weren't made for you in the first place.
In fact, you should consider yourself lucky!
Because, more often than not, these programs will only produce 2 possible results for you:
Burnout or Injury.
